Job Description

The Federation is the world’s largest humanitarian organization providing assistance without discrimination as to nationality, race, religious belief, class or political opinion. The office’s role is to support the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) in delivering humanitarian services to the most vulnerable. Position: Procurement Officer

Qualification: University Degree in Logistics, Procurement, Admin & Finance or equivalent Experience: 5+ years of professional Procurement Experience.

Responsibilities:

• To provide the support to the Earthquake Response Operation (ERO) and IFRC in the area of Logistics/Procurement, the incumbent is considered an integral part of the support system of Nepal Red Cross Society both in the assigned sector as well as the overall capacity building of the National Society. As such it is expected that the incumbent works cooperatively with NRCS when called upon support.
